Rachelle has a Bachelor of Arts (BA), Asian Studies with a major in Korean Studies from Philippine International College as well as a Bachelor of Science (BS), Computer science from Ramon Magsaysay Technological University.
Rio joined our team in August 2022 as one of our talented Korean language instructors.
Before joining us, she taught Korean to Filipino students for one year and taught English to Korean students for six months.
Like Rachelle, she now brings her very practical teaching skills to help students learn Korean, so they can understand what is being said in Korean dramas, communicate with local Korean businesses and to have the confidence to one day visit South Korea.
She also worked at her local Korean community association assisting Koreans and brings her own unique style to our community.

Simon is the founder of KDrama Gear (KDG).
He is a huge fan of Korean drama.
Simon originally founded KDG as a fan merchandise site, but has since expanded KDG to include a rich KDrama community and a place for everyday KDrama fans to learn Korean.
He also termed the phrase "bite sized Korean" to symbolize a philosophy of simplified learning.
